Thinking about high school? You'll want to read this

If you're starting to think about high school, you will be interested in a new tip sheet from People for Education on choosing courses for grade 9. 
In March, this year's grade 8 students will be submitting their course selections for grade 9 - including whether they plan to take applied or academic courses in math, science, French and English. These important choices affect what a student can study in grade 11 and 12. In particular, People for Education has a caution about applied courses and success in school.
