There will be no pizza lunch this week. We are sorry for any inconvenience. Please look for pizza forms to come home before March Break for the next pizza lunch on March 25th.

Fun Fair update - silent auction

Planning is well underway for the Clairlea PS Fun Fair on June 12! 

We're actively soliciting donations for our silent auction and would like to thank the following organizations that have so willingly and generously sent in their donations:

• Mabel's Labels (a big combo gift certificate worth $55!)
• Teletoon (a popcorn-and-movies gift pack worth $100!)
• Superintendent Rauda Dickinson (Indigo gift certificates worth $100!)
• Casa Loma (a family pass to Casa Loma worth $72!)
• The CNE (six fun passes to the 2010 CNE worth $90!)
• The Ontario Science Centre (two complimentary passes worth $36!)

If you know of any other companies like these that would provide gift packs, gift certificates or other support to our Fun Fair, please send me an email.

Fun Fair - corporate donations needed

The Clairlea Fun Fair is scheduled for Saturday June 12, 2010. It promises to be a wonderful day filled with activities such as an inflatable obstacle course, bouncy castles, a dunk tank, live entertainment and great food along with a host of other exciting things to do.


A key part of the event is the Silent Auction, and that's where we need your help. If you know of companies or organizations that might donate items or make a financial contribution to the Fun Fair, please ask them for their support. You can download and print/email our donations letter. Please send me an email when you use the letter so that we don't accidentally ask the same person twice. 


The 2008 Fun Fair raised thousands of dollars that was invested back into the school. With your support, 2010 can be even better! 

Calling all griddles... Pancake Day Friday Feb 19

Pancake Day is Friday, Feb 19 and we need volunteers and griddles!

Please contact Tami Oudendijk if you can volunteer or lend us your electric griddle. Note that as griddles are being brought in from outside the school, we cannot guarantee a peanut-free event.
